Happy Go Lucky
Have you ever wondered if you seen the same movie as everyone else? If you have you'll understand my confusion about "Happy Go Lucky". I thought it was slow, painful to watch and pointless.
The character of Popi, all the reviews describer as her as optimistic. I thought she was rude, disrespectful and passive-aggressive. Worst yet like most passive aggressive people she does not see it and does not care about role in her self created craziness.
The movie is about Popi going through her life. Giggling at people feeling. Not able to have an adult conversation. Following what ever whim she has even placing herself in unsafe situations.
Her driving instructor is a unstable racist with a few hundred paranoid ideals. So of course giggling passive aggressive nothing is ever serious Popi pushes him to a melt down. Then acts superior because she herself doesn't act the way. Never realizing she never followed one of his request. Or that the she strip the one area of pride the man had-His ability to teach driving.
She is a truly awful woman and it is a disgusting waste of time and film.

Great Blogs
Here is a sample
Yesterday, I tuned into Rush Limbaugh as I sometimes do. It was funny at first because it sounded like he would explode trying to understand why everyone was so excited about Barack Obama’s inauguration - or as he called it, the immaculation of the messiah. It was funny at first but then he said this: The only reason this is such a big deal is because Obama’s Daddy was black. So I turned Rush off for the last time. He like so many others has now become a relic from the last century.
What he and Hannity, Coulter, Boortz, Beck, Cheney, Rove, Hasselbeck, Palin and even Bush will never understand is exactly why this is indeed a very big deal for more than just the African-American community. For so many of us, these last 8 years have been a slow, painful near-death experience of something we had held so dear for so long - Faith and Hope. No matter how hard things had been in the past, Americans always held on to their Faith in our country and Hope that better days lay ahead . But 8 years ago we lost Hope and we lost Faith. Elections could be stolen. Personal rights could be taken away. The price of a barrel of oil was worth more than the very lives of our children. Our vote no longer counted and our voices no longer heard. Our leaders - in whom we had given our trust - had failed us.

Michelle Obama
legally Blonde
There! Right There!
Look at that tan, that tinted skin.
Look at the killer shape he's in.
Look at that slightly stubbly chin.
Oh Please he's gay, totally gay.
Callahan:
I'm not about to celebrate.
Every trait could indicate the totally straight expatriate.
This guy's not gay, I say not gay.
All:
That is the elephant in the room.
Well is it relevant to assume
that a man who wears perfume
is automatically radically fey?
Emmett:
But look at his coiffed and crispy locks.
Elle:
Look at his silk translucent socks.
Callahan:
There's the eternal paradox.
Look what we're seeing.
Elle:
What are we seeing?
Callahan:
Is he gay?
Elle:
Of course he's gay.
Calahan:
Or European?
All:
ohhhhhh.
Gay or European?
It's hard to guarantee
Is he gay or European?
Warner:
Well, hey don't look at me.
Vivian:
You see they bring their boys up different in those charming foreign ports.
They play peculiar sports.
All:
In shiny shirts and tiny shorts.
Gay or foreign fella?
The answer could take weeks.
They will say things like "ciao bella"
while they kiss you on both cheeks.
Elle:
Oh please.
All:
Gay or European?
So many shades of gray.
Warner:
Depending on the time of day, the French go either way.
All:
Is he gay or European?
or
Enid:
There! Right There!
Look at that condescending smirk.
Seen it on every guy at work.
That is a metro hetero jerk.
That guy's not gay, I say no way.
All:
That is the elephant in the room.
Well is it relevant to presume
that a hottie in that costume
Elle:
Is automatically-radically
Callahan:
Ironically chronically
Vivian:
Certainly pertin'tly
Warner:
Genetically medically
All:
GAY!
OFFICIALLY GAY!
OFFICIALLY GAY GAY GAY GAY
DAMNIT!
Gay or European?
Callahan
So stylish and relaxed.
All:
Is he gay or European?
Callahan
I think his chest is waxed.
Vivian:
But they bring their boys up different there.
It's culturally diverse.
It's not a fashion curse.
All:
If he wears a kilt or bears a purse.
Gay or just exotic?
I still can't crack the code.
Brooke:
Yet his accent is hypnotic
but his shoes are pointy toed.
All:
Huh.
Gay or European?
So many shades of gray.
Judge:
But if he turns out straight I'm free at eight on Saturday.
All:
Is he gay or European?
gay or european?
Gay or Euro-
Emmett:
Wait a minute!
Give me a chance to crack this guy.
I have an idea I'd like to try.
Callahan:
The floor is yours.
Emmett:
So Mr. Argitacos...
This alleged affair with Ms. Windam has been going on for...?
Mikos:
2 years.
Emmett:
And your first name again is...?
Mikos:
Mikos.
Emmett:
And your boyfriend's name is...?
Mikos:
Carlos.
I'm sorry! I misunderstand. You say boyfriend.
I thought you say best friend. Carlos is my best friend.
Carlos:
You bastard!
You lying bastard!
That's it.
I no cover for you, no more!
Peoples.
I have a big announcement.
This man is Gay and European!
you've got to stop your being
a completely closet case.
No matter what he say.
I swear he never ever ever swing the other way.
You are so gay.
You big parfait!
You flaming boy band cabaret.
Mikos:
I'm straight!
Carlos:
You were not yesterday.
So if I may, I'm proud to say,
He's gay!
All:
And European!
Carlos:
He's gay!
All:
And European!
Carlos:
He's gay!
All:
And European and Gay!
Mikos:
Fine okay I'm gay!
All:
Hooray!
Mikos and Carlos:
Fine. Okay. We're gay!

Goodbye gray skies, hello blue! Happy days are here again with Richie, Potsie, Ralph Malph and the unforgettable "king of cool" Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli. Based on the hit Paramount Pictures' television series, HAPPY DAYS – A New Musical reintroduces one of America's best loved families, the Cunninghams, and the days of 1959 Milwaukee complete with varsity sweaters, hula hoops, and jukebox sock-hoppin'.

I don't make this stuff up -Marvel Comic
While researching the Great Lakes Avenger. I came across this guy-Leather Boy who mistook a personal Ad for Men and Women of Action. Surely this Super Hero team was designed to be tongue and cheek.
Leather Boy, a miscreant who misread Mister Immortal's personal ad seeking men and women of action, joined the Great Lakes Avengers for an extremely brief period of time. As Mister Immortal said, "The less said about it, the better." Unfortunately, he later returned clad in the leather variation of Doctor Doom's armor, wanting revenge for being left out of the second recruiting drive, and murdered Monkey Joe. Big Bertha, however, caught and defeated Leather Boy by sitting on him.

My favorite Aunt
For two weeks I've worked out in my head what I wanted to say about her but nothing seems adequate So I'm going tell you about her - things that were common to everyone who knew her . Chris was always happy to see everyone stranger and friends. She always found something good everyone- and did not hesitate to say so. My aunt could look pass dirt, poverty, color and see something good. If she had prejudices I never heard them. She thought the world of Ronald and Nancy Reagan (see what I'm talking about). Yet she did not reaction badly when she found out I was a Democrat. She like to feed stray animals-she died in her garage feeding the cats.
Chris could be easily hurt by gossip and unkind words. I think those things were so far removed from she is that she could not believe they would say it. Chris once had to asked a trouble making family member not to come around anymore. I am sure it took every of strength she had and hurt her more then it did him.
She loved her family more then anything. Her own family and her Sibling. I think she was born nurturer. She never got over the loss of her son. Chris treasured her daughter and grand kids.
So if anybody reads this and would like to honor her in some small way-here is how. Give love to someone or something without thinking about anything in return. Feed a stray animal. Say something nice when you don't have too. See good in someone you dislike. Love a fey nephew. You may never see the return but I am living proof the return is there
