Made of vinyl and hard plastic, this new, original sculpt doll has hand-painted facial features and comes dressed in a sharp pin-striped suit, complete with a contrasting pocket square and spectacles. He has blue eyes and wigged brunette hair. He’s a full 17” high.

What I read during my Vacation
I was hoping this would be one those book I could pass around at work. Let one co-worker read it and from there it goes to where ever. Bounding with each time with my chum over Jim Norton's wit and wisdom. This I'm afraid is not the book for bonding with my worker chums who are mostly ladies.
I think Jim Norton is brilliant. I laugh and laugh. His foul mouth they would enjoy. No problem there. But within the first four chapter he's discussed his asshole three times. Believe it or not, I could explain that easier then his fascination with hookers (Ok, Just why do you find this funny?)
The bonding over a book with co-working is just going to have to wait. Maybe I'll bring in a box of chocolates.

And a Sunday parade means a huge crowd so weve extended the parade route north to Addison. The Northalsted Business Alliance, in conjunction with Triangle Neighbors Association (a branch of the Lake View Citizens' Council), presents the 14th Annual Northalsted Halloween Parade on Sunday, Oct. 31st. This year's theme is "Little Street of Horrors," taken from the Hollywood film and Broadway show "Little Shop of Horrors." Isobel Lomax and Dolly Biddle are two "mature" cable access cooking show hostesses who have hated each other for 30 years, ever since Larry Biddle dated one and married the other. Aside from Larry Biddle and a passion for cooking, they share another common secret love. When circumstances put them together on the same show called The Kitchen Witches, the insults are flung harder and faster than the food!

Saugatuck Michigan
Saugatuck Dunes, Michigan
Saugatuck is only 90 miles by boat from Chicago, but a visit to the classic resort town is like a step back in time. Among its many charms are beaches distinguished by the rare freshwater dunes formed by the waves of Lake Michigan. "Right now, you can see the dunes very much as Europeans saw them 200 years ago," says David Swan, president of the Saugatuck Dunes Coastal Alliance. Yet they may be in peril. The issue: a development proposed for a parcel of beachfront just outside the gates of Saugatuck Dunes State Park.
While the developer maintains that preserving the local culture and ecology are its top priorities, critics contend that the plan to build about 30 homes, a nine-hole golf course, a 66-slip marina, and a small hotel and condos heralds a drastic and deplorable change. Among the worries: The hotel's nine-story tower would forever alter a landscape that has drawn artists for centuries, and the construction will harm the fragile ecology of the 200-foot-high dunes. Local zoning laws prohibit anything of the scale being proposed, but the developer has filed a series of lawsuits to change them. In response, Saugatuck residents recently voted to raise taxes for a legal defense fund. Meanwhile, the National Trust for Historic Preservation named Saugatuck Dunes on its 2010 list of the country's most endangered historic places, and the developer has threatened to sue for defamation. Much of the shore remains protected, including Oval Beach, its best-known stretch, and an adjacent parcel the developer sold back to the municipality and state for conservation. But the rest of the shoreline—and the future of the town—hang in the balance.
If you go: Stay at the Sea Suites Boat & Breakfast, an inn located on a 105-foot houseboat docked right outside town. It has four large air-conditioned suites with private baths, and a hot tub on the top deck.

September 17th through October 16th
The return of TOTS' Film Noir series! A hilarious parody of Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians featuring the Sisters of San Andreas who are a collection of very familiar faces. Sisters Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Gloria Swanson, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Katherine Hepburn, Vivian Leigh, Hattie McDaniel, Mae West, Tallulah Bankhead and Sister Alfred (Hitchcock) have all been summoned by Mother Paramount to a retreat in a secluded mansion where one by one they are killed off in hilarious fashion until we ultimately learn whodunit!
This sound like fun-I'm hoping David and I can make it out for this.

Calamity Jane,s-Sandy OregonTa
Since the weather failed us on scenic trip to Mt. Hood. It's was much too foggy to see much of anything. We did discover Calamity Jane's restaurant and Burger's extraordinaire. The restaurant is designed to look to like an 1800's Saloon. All the waitresses were blond and pretty which normally sends me red flags of sexist. But most of the clientele were female I figured it was just a fluke.
David order a plan burger and onion rings. While I opted for the caujin burger and fries, The burger was great -but i was glad I had taken prilosec that morning.
