| It's all about GLBT pride at Chicago Pride Fest on Friday and Saturday, June 26-27, the days before Chicago's iconic Pride Parade (Sunday, June 28). Festive ... Jubilant ... Fun ... are just a few of the words to describe this day-long gathering that's a non-stop, early-summer party. Hosted by (and benefiting) the Northalsted Area Merchants Association -- the same group behind the wildly popular Northalsted Market Days (set for the weekend of August 1-2) -- this equally crowd-pleasing gay and lesbian celebration of community pride will be back bigger than ever in its 7th year! Pride Fest showcases an eclectic lineup of arts & crafts, food and other vendors. It also features entertainment on two stages including one dedicated to some of Chicago's fine performers in the gay community. |
